I haven't a clue where to put this... and I don't want it put in my scraps gallery...Anyways, these are the staves that Eclipse uses in the .hack world. This picture goes with [link] . Eclipse's staff is her most prized possession, and that's saying a lot, as Eclipse is a rare-item hunter. It changes shape depending on the mode she wants to use. That's about it.

Out of curiosity... why did you use pokemon attacks for the attacks & stuff of the staves? Also, why pick items & such from Final Fantasy, too?
Why not just use the ones found /in/ the .hack-verse?
Eg: For healing, Repth, La Repth, etc.
I mean, that's a seriously strange and yet interesting combination: Pokemon + Final Fantasy (nine, perhaps, what with the saphire?) + .hack... xD

Ha ha, the problem is, at the time I drew this... which was a considerable... 4+ years ago... I did not know much about .hack except SIGN. Even now... I still haven't played the .hack games... so unfortunately I don't know many of the actual attacks / items... except the occasional spell like "Ol Repth" and such. XD So yes, on my part, it was a dumb mix of things that I knew. 
In fact, this entire deviation is outdated... my character does not look the same, along with the idea of the 'transforming staff' I'm no longer considering using. There is an entire new look for the "Epsilon Staff" along with the character "Eclipse the Wavemaster" has changed to "Hakobune the Wavemaster".
And you are absolutely no nerd, I'm glad to find a .hack fan who actually KNOWS their stuff. ^^
So, certainly a little embarrassing to think I did this many a year ago... eventually when I get the chance to finally draw my OC the way I have finally settled on... this will promptly be tossed into Scraps, never to be seen again. ^^

Thank ye! Actually though, the attack one isn't really my design, and is used by Elk in the games. (^_^) The other 2 are originals though.

staves, the plural form of staff is stave. it seems to be a lesser known fact
