Me too, Sonic. Me too.This is just a stupid comic I drew last night. Sometimes I just get wild ideas, and have to draw them. Anyway, this is more of a dig at SEGA than a dig at Sonic fans, although Hyper does look awefully like many recolours out there (Everytime you make a recolour, a puppy dies!).
But have you noticed how SEGA keeps making hedgehogs? Sonic, Shadow, Metal Sonic, Silver...And they all look pretty much the same, and have similar abilities! So this is a dig at SEGA, for being unoriginal and lazy, and promoting recolours! I mean, if they make recolours of Sonic themselves, that's just encouraging fans to recolour!
It's also a dig at 4Kids voice actors. Now, I don't hate Jason Griffith. I first got into Sonic when I saw an episode of Sonic X (terrible, I know), so Griffith was the first voice actor I heard. But I did really like Ryan Drummond, and I feel sorry for him, being kicked out after so long on the job. So this is a little tribute to him. And you know what? Even though none of my characters will ever be official characters, I have decided that Hunter's voice sounds like Ryan Drummond. But more of the Shadow version than the Sonic version, so he doesn't sound like Sonic. So Drummond, if you ever want to come back, there's a job right here for you!

Even though I did grow up with Ryan Drummond as Sonic and David Humphrey as Shadow, I honsetly like the 4kids dub and Jason Griffith doing Sonic, Shadow, and Jet. You people hate on this stuff WAY too much...

I agree, there's too many hedgie characters. They should use diffrent species. They should only make new hedgehog characters if they are Sonic's relatives. I wish they'd bring back his siblings, uncle and mum.

I always found Ryan Drummonds voice annyoing and was relieved when Jason Griffith came along. But this is still funny to laugh at the funny char thats original but has the skills of a recolour

I dont nescecarally mind sonic's voice being done by Jason, but knuckles voice sounded better before Dan Green. I forget what the other guy's name was... good comic byt the way

Amen sista! They at least need to make an original hedgehog, like a villain, y'know someone completely opposite of Sonic and make him STAY EVIL! Shadow... who sneaks off to do good deeds? Lame.... I liked it back in SA2 when he was smooth and cool, now they got this weirdo running around calling himself Shadow. , and yes Drummond was awesome! ^^

Hmm, hedgehog villian you say? *cough, cough* Mephiles *cough* Actually, no. Mephiles was a recolour of Shadow, who's a recolour of Sonic! Argh!

All they change was his Eyeliner colour and woopee! New Character! They really need to let the Japenese take more control instead of the Americans taking everything! Thats what the do *not all but most companies* Just exploit them and take it, they cant just translate they have to recreate everything....

I don't even know of those series, never saw one. I played only good old Sonic the hedgehog 1 for Mega Drive and was totally fascinated.

I agree. Too many hedgehogs in the archies. I would like to see more foxes and cats and maybe rabbits!~ X3 Or maybe some dogs or ferrets! They need more originality..

I know. And I've noticed, it's mostly the male characters who are a bit un-unique.. Though some of them where quite unique.. Now most of them seem alike. However, the female characters they've introduced are all quite unique. (Especailly Blaze!~) It's odd..

yeah... They've only ever had one female hedgheog (unless the count the comics!) but they seem to like bringing in male hedgehogs.
I often find myself that it's easier to make girls, because you have more room for variety there. Males are harder to distinguish, because they don't wear many clothes, there isn't that much you can do with their hair without making them look like girls, and once you've gone through the symbols on playing cards it's a little difficult to decide what to make their chest shape as XD

That's a rule I have a habit of breaking, the clothes one, I have a couple males who are fully-clothed. And a couple females with no clothes (But they have fur and aren't 'detailed' as such..)

"Political Correctness" needs to take a hike, methinks. Sure, Sally was the only female character I can think of that didn't wear clothes, but she was also the most normal/relatable female character that I can remember(Though I never had the chance to read the Archie comics). Thus, Sally has been my favorite female Sonic character since I saw her in the Freedom Fighters series.
Sorry, but methinks Amy doesn't stand a chance at getting Sonic while Sally's around...

Neither do I. I'm just saying that it was a bit low of SEGA to just dump Drummond after so long, but hey, that's the way it works in this cut throat world, right?
