uru: cis biromantic asexual (she/her), renamed hatima in my universe. she’s such a tragic character to me, and is truly one of my favorites in my headcanon. she did love ahadi (alfajiri), she truly did, but when your wearing rose tinted glasses the red flags seem to disappear.

ahadi: cis aromantic asexual (he/him), renamed alfajiri in my universe. he’s a prick, but i’d be lying if i said he never loved. even monsters start out innocent.

mheetu: trans straight (he/him), the little soldier boy who flew too close to the sun.

kopa: cis bisexual (he/him), renamed kopan in my universe. he never knew what he wanted in life and it certainly wasn’t a guard or crown, but once he met afua home had a name.

afua: cis gay (he/him), an outcast in both the pridelands and in the backlands, home wasn’t a den in the brush or at the heart of the pridelands, but of running away at dusk to meet a bold little cub and play till the sun rose.

kxk: trans demi-girl queer (she/they), named reth, oldest in her litter of two. she was born for the crown, her talent evident, but around those her age she was awkward, abashed, rude, and unable to find her footing in the fragile social network of her pride. she was designed by @karoadopts over on insta.
