I actually tried Magma Dragoon a few years ago when I was first starting out doing sprite conversions. Didn't look clean so i never posted. Now at a slightly higher level of skill i decided to try again (ended up making several other MegaMan sprites as well lol). I started off using the original X4 sprite as abase but quickly just went to scratch work. Basically the only thing the original sprite helped base was the the shape of the head. The problem with scratch spriting was that this ended up being bigger than i wanted, thus affecting the X and Sigma sprites i did.Dragoon was my favorite boss from X4 really liked the Akuma inspired design and moveset lol.

Magma Dragoon is really my favorite boss from MMX4. Not only in concept, but fighting against him as well. Pretty nice to see him sprited like this.

On top of being a Dragon reploid he also street fighter moves doesn't get much cooler than that lol
