The Agonizer is an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer in the service of the Netherworld Empire during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

The flagship of Fleet Admiral Terren Rogriss, the Agonizer serves as the command ship of the powerful 13th Task Force - Iron Hammer - which comprises of 48 Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, 58 Gazanti & Dreadnought-class Cruisers, 36 Raider-class Corvettes and 34 Victory II-class Star Destroyers.

Following the Battle of Endor, Rogriss and the Agonizer led Iron Hammer Task Force into an uneasy alliance with Generals Wedge Antilles and Han Solo in pursuing the maverick Warlord Zsinj outside of the Alpharus galaxy. While the alliance saw the eventual demise of their common enemy, it led to both sides maintaining their uneasy partnership against Warlords Treuten Teradoc and Foga Brill, who tries to seize the initiative created by Zsinj's death.

Rogriss is able to sntach a large chunk of Zsinj's Empire and was the liaison between Darth Marr and Boba Fett during the secret campaign against Moff Gideon. The two met aboard the Agonizer and Fett would later return to the Star Destroyer in order to collect his full payment once Gideon was captured.
