I like this a lot. It abstractly reminds me of an Indian devi or goddess, what with the stylized flaming aura and all. I also like how the foreground figure spreads its flames into the background; the dynamics read like the plume is driven by a force or wind, or perhaps an explosion. And the sense of superheated liquid/particles in all the detailed droplet work is fantastic. Nice work overall.

Wow that is one heck of a piece to look at! The colors are truly intense. How did you come up with this subject/idea?Β

When I create artwork, normally I look and try to create interesting shapes and motion. Β This gives me a sense of the energy, texture, and feel I'll be able to work with. Β Once this happens, I inject some color based on how I feel, or colors that might provide atmospheres that I'd be interested in trying to solidify a subject for (either as simple as fire/phoenix/dragons, or a lot more complex if I'm looking for a strong conceptual piece). Β The combination of color and motion of the "environment" usually starts a story in my mind, and I'll then refine what I have to better fit the story at the end.
This was mostly inspired by the fire I saw, which was presented as an interesting landscape when I was exploring color earlier in the process. Β I decided I wanted to do something fire and loved the depth and blurs I was able to add, so I ran with it!

Thank you Β This was a bit more personal to me than usual, though I tried to mask it a bit XD Β I can't help but fall back to fire for inspiration. Β
