A water dragon perching on a rock before tucking in to his lunch and no it is not a dolphin -.-The sail crested dragons of the tropical regions,spend most of their time lounging in the shallow warm waters, that surround mini islands. They tend to hunt by flying above the water and grabbng prey that comes near the surface. Not that won't dive after anything thats worth chasing. Their markings help reak up their form in the water, and some even look like mini shoals of fish, luring bigger fish towards them.
Ummm yes been working on and off this when the mood took me basically. Done in watercolours and colouring pencils. Tweaked a little in photoshop too. Heh and people wonder why i insane when i draw things with teeny ikkle scales....

thankies hehe its always the scales that impress people. they don't take too long to draw, but they do to colour. Which is why i do them in parts, like just the neck one day, then maybe front legs XD Though i did like starts this back in january >.>

That's some really amazing work right there. I love the colours and the mass amount of details right down to every scale. It also reminds me of a dragon book my parents had as a kid.
