You’ve been traveling for what feels like forever. You stop to rest but are rudely awakened by the sound of wild dogs; they sound pretty vicious and large in number. What do you do?

B] Hide, head for the bushes, then search for shelter

Ethan had traveled through the mountains for a long time now. It was fall already, and he enjoyed the wind swirling his mane.

After he found a bit of mountain grass and ate it, Ethan decided it was time to rest. He searched for a quiet place and just as he closed his eyes, the sound of dogs made him warry.

Usually, he would've attacked whatever caused the noise and would take on even the largest groups of enemies, but not today. Not in the condition he was in but most importantly: He wouldn't take on a great group of dogs alone.

Formerly he had his herd protect him and fought alongside their leader. Not anymore though. Ethan was on his own, seeking to reunite or found a new herd.

As Ethan started the attempt to exit the area without making a fuss, one of the dogs heard him move. The pack was alarmed and quickly followed the Stallion as he tried to make his escape.
