The end of the Purge--...the last of the ISOs have finally been tracked down, eradicated, their cities leveled and the energy and raw materials returned to the rightful citizens of the Grid. No innocent program has to live in fear of the harm they caused anymore-- the system is safe.
In spite of Flynn's misjudgment and Tron's negligence, we took a stand.
We set things right--
...we survived.

This picture is a very sad story, like the whole on the TRON universe. I don't know why, but its creators seem to specifically not want a good outcome, both in Legacy and Uprising. But it contradicts the ideology of Disney, which stands for the victory of good over evil.

I think that the TRON universe is much more complicated than the neatly defined "good" and "evil" that's in most Disney stories... On the surface, CLU and Dyson murdered a race of innocent beings, but they did this because they thought the ISOs were viruses, and would hurt their own people. They were fighting to protect their world and their people, and that's not "good" or "evil" - it's human.
It is very sad though, and unusual for Disney...
