Painted in Photoshop CS5, using the film as reference.
About 7 hours of work.

Sorry about the copious watermarks. They aren't going anywhere. Don't ask. I am SO proud of this project so far, and would hate to see any part of this turn up somewhere else.

Please note that I don't have time to say "thank you" for every favourite, but I appreciate them all nonetheless! Thank you all for your support!!!

The Fireys won in my poll, and I figured they'd be fun. Thought they'd be a challenge, but I had no idea what I was in for! They were really difficult to paint! All the random colours and textures... took longer than I though. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment though, because after finishing the first page, I decided to go with a two-page-spread. Glad I did, I had a lot of fun in the end

About the "Practical Visitor's Guide to the Labyrinth" Project
I have handbooks, guide books, and field guides to a million different species of animal, and thought that it would be interesting to make one for the creatures of one of my all time favourite films, Labyrinth! The idea is to create a page (or spread) for the various creatures that Sarah encountered in the Labyrinth.
