I really love it. Tried to do the same but failed horribly. Great work. I can hear Jupiter rotate.

i dunno i think its a pretty good space scene. then again i know the kinda work that goes into creating each and every model here XD even a simple sphere is tough once you have to find the proper texture and such. and the ring around that planet couldnt have been to simple to make. if i had to guess i would think you would add a texture to it ansd use a negative of the texture for a transparency effect or something. but how you would do that depends on what program your using. and i think that above all else is why i think this image is so good. you got a nice ringed look for it. and the effect is awsome. not to mention the different shades of blue used in all the planets textures. i dunno what about it but it makes it look pretty natural. and i like nebulae effects i make plenty of them myself but none that look natural like it could really exist like this one.

Very nice for a first attempt waaaay better than anything I managed to do! You did especially well on the star field for a first go getting that right takes lots of patience. Keep up the good work!

This is an amazing pic. Don't put yourself down like that because if i could produce something as good as this i'd be very happy indeed.

having photoshop is a good start, its not cheap, but well worth the money... if you're not willing to spend that, maybe try a free app such as gimp. Im sure gimp is more than capable of producing images like these.. and there are heaps of space and planet tutorials on the internet

Hello, My name is Patrick Blanchette. I am a young comic book writer from Quรฉbec in Canada. I currently work on a 200 pages book called Twinkle that I will try to publish and sell to the public. The story is a fairytale about a young girl called Twinkle who must travel through space is search of an unknown something. I that story, I mix hand drawing (foreground) with picture (background). So what I would like to know is if you would accept to let me use this image as a background for my book. I cannot pay you in anyway but I can credit you at the end of my book.
Have a nice Day
Patrick

I love it!
For the title you could use maybe "Deep space" or "The dark side of xyz planet/moon" or "Far in Space"...
