Description
Well then blast to the past with some friendly twists I don't know how many rememberes this show called W.I.T.C.H. but I do and I loved it It was one of my fave shows as a child and I recently felt like going down memory lane and rewatch the show furthermore I miss my friends since we can't see each other due to the virus, so I felt like meeting them again in shape of drawing my pals in W.I.T.C.H. inspired outfits SO HERE I AM WITH THIS!!!! I had a bit of problem withh assigning roles, but my friend (let us call her "M") came with a suggestion for the placement of elements and everyone agreed, so I could happily begin on it early. The outfits are inspired by what they go in daily, like I gave pants to the ones that oftens wears pants and long sleeves to those that don't wear short sleeves. I also chose the coloring based on the serie's characters, like both generations of the water girl had a turquoise shirt and purple skirt, so placed the colors likewise.Hope you like it and think it is cute btw our first name letters can spell B.R.E.A.M thus the name of this
W.I.T.C.H inspiration belongs to
- Elisabetta Gnone
- Alessandro Barbucci
- Barbara Canepa

Awww man I remember W.I.T.C.H.! Aww the nostalgia I actually discovered it's existance in elementary school, because apparently there are books for the series, though I believe the books came first. I actually starting binge watched the series shortly after, buuut then life happened Any who, I love how well you captured the style in this drawing, I'm especially digging the awesome outfits Which Guardian are you in this drawing? Earth, Water, Fire, Water, or the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar? Amazing work! And don't worry, I am sure you will be able to see your friends again, plus there's always Facetime or texting, though I know it's not the same. Just do your best to stay safe and healthy, and the rest will sort of work itself out

OMG you remember the keeper of the heart of kandrakar role! I didn't, I needed to google it
I don't know which came first, the comics or the books, but I am certain that the TV-series came after and it was through the TV-series that I learned of it. Too bad that life came and happened. Did you ever take it up again?
Thank you very much for the compliments! I tried my best staying true to the style concerning the outfits. I am the keeper in the middle... so now you have a slight idea of my appearance
I sure hope, I get to see them again soon. Sadly enough I am afraid of testing them, since they're busy with additional assignments. I don't know about other countries, but in my country you get an assignment per class you miss due to covid-19, so they're quite busy and I don't wanna disturb them
Thanks and you too do your best with staying safe and healthy

What can I say? The name stuck to me after reading it in the book. Ah I see. That makes sense. And unfortunately no. I don't even remember what episode I was on
You're very welcome! You did, with of course adding your own original twists to match your friends' styles
Heh yea. You look very cute
We have remote learning assignments too. And I don't think they'll mind hearing from you as long as you don't pester them about not getting back fast enough. I think they'll appreciate hearing you say hi, update them, ask how they're doing(while of course saying that you hope that they and their families are safe), and if you think it's appropriate, send them something you think they'd like, like a certain video or some art online or something. But that's just me. I don't mean to impose or make any wrong assumptions about your friends
Thank you! I will

W.i.t.c.h. was a big part of my tween years and early teen years, and I still like coming back to the artwork of that Italian comics series. It was one of the first paranormal centered, female empowerment series I got into. Thinking back on it, not only did it represent a fair diversity of personality types among girls. It also had racial and some class diversity as well, something I sorely miss sometimes when reading YA and adult novels (without pictures), although graphic novels for teens and adults are a different story.
You will get to see your friends again, but until then, we have to keep at our work and stay healthy.

Yeah, I didn't really notice it as a child, but now that I do, I really appreciate and like that aspect of the series
Thanks, I'll do my best staying healthy. Wish you the best of luck and health too
