LOL it's cool the main reasons I like him is because he is Native American, single, and hot . . . not the best reasons but still reasons. Plus I do like the story line he has but I would have been MUCH more exited with the Chines chick . . . then they could have done Connor.
You know now that I think of it I think the reason no one really likes Connor is because they jumped so far ahead in the time line.
. . . Thoughts?

Mostly I didn't like him because he was a rather flat, boring character to 'listen' to for so long.
That and Ubisoft teased us with the excellent, snarky, smart and incredibly British Haytham for a chunk of the start of the game and I would have loved more of him; the book 'Forsaken' is all about Haytham's younger life and would have made for an excellent game.

He was just such a great, well rounded character compared to Connor.

Haytham was more refined, Ezio was lovely, he was charming and gorgeous to look at but Haytham did everything with a sort of refinement to him. XD

Have you read Forsaken? If not it's totally worth it, you can hear Haytham talking through the whole book.

Actually I haven't. I am not sure that I want to read the assassin's creed novels. I don't know if I'll like them or not. The fact that they are so thin when the games were so long also worries me that there will be a lot left out.

They're actually very well written (And I'm a picky cow when it comes to books!), all of the characters are spot on which is rare in a tie in (I'm looking at you Bioshock Rapture ... ¬_¬).

The fact it is not a game concept sucks.
AC Brotherhood, Revelations and III are stupid.
They really should make a game with spirit of the first one in Japan.

Personally I just can't take the game seriously after the developer team has changed. From conspiracy and philosophy the game turned to character storyline and gameplay action. Stupid.

I've wanted an Assassin's Creed set in 1920s- late 1940s India, during the British Empire. I think it'd be interesting.

This doesn't seem to fit into your timeline. I'd place this more into 200-300CE, China. Judging from the garbs and his sword. But still, that could be interesting. I'd personally love one in Ancient China during one of its many civil struggles and political divides.
