I recommend it to anyone who want's to illustrate or draw on a computer. Wacom as far as I'm concerned ( and I have been in the design industry for 11+ years ) is the best there is. They have a tablet for anyone. Mine is called the intuous 4 Medium. I love it. And no you you don't sound like an idiot. I promise.

Mine runs around $365 or so. but they have more affordable and just as useable models. You can check out www.wacom.com to check them all out. If you go, check out the Cintiq 24HD. I'm saving my pennies for one of them. THEY are epic.
