Description
On April 7th, 2003, the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division was pinned under a bridge known as Objective Curly. This Corporal sat dilligent at his post, defending his comrades from enemy fire that was coming in from all directions. Using his trusted Remington, he continued to help hold OBJ Curly. By the evening of April 7th, OBJ Curly was secured and 3ID would move on to capture Baghdad.

This was Thunder Run...

This photo was taken by a journalist that rode with 3/15 Infantry through Thunder Run. This is my tribute to that photographer's vision, the bravery of this sniper and to the soldiers of Thunder Run.
