EDIT: added some additional info about highlight placement, as well as knowing when to change the highlight position.A request from tumblr. I've had multiple people ask me for help and advice on Xiaolin style eyes, so here's a tutorial for the variations in each series. XS on the left, XC on the right. The bottom row is a bit of extra info for those who are a bit more advanced. Everything here is based on observation of the animation and artwork, or gleaned from my own experiences, and is by no means an 'official style guide' for others to adhere to.
Let me know if anything is unclear, confusing, misspelled, or otherwise amiss!

next, if youre planning to do more, id suggest backgrounds and lineart techniques that emulate the shows style. im not very good at those and id love to see a tutorial! but of course its your choice.
