Missed my self-imposed deadline by a few hours. Sorry, if I wasn't related to me, I'd fire myself, but you know how it is. Background for the library is from birdco [link] who has some excellent comics; I recommend them.The first chapter is here: [link]

I think things are speeding up a bit now that I've finished the baseline for the Bane 6. And Spike is pretty easy to draw.
The next one won't be done next week because I'm going to Colorado to see my stepson graduate from the US Air Force Academy! I hear the Wonderbolts will be in attendance.

Yeah, she's going to have the rage face with the antenna sticking out at odd angles... they'll aid in expressing emotion. Plus Byakhee do have antennae, so I was cheating her.

I'm afraid my Lovecraft comes watered down through Terry Pratchett so I'm kind of seeing this as ponies from the dungeon dimensions

Thanks, she's definitely getting the most positive feedback. I think I'll try to do something in more of a painted style with her. I won't have time for the comic before I head off to Colorado but maybe I can get her finished.

I'm loving this idea/comic more and more every time I think about it. There's no way an evil creature from before the dawn of time could maintain said personality intact for long while masquerading as Fluttershy...
By the way, what is your user icon based on? It reminds me of some of the animation associated with the Beatles, and a little bit of Monty Python but I can't quite put my finger on it.

I'm not one for C'thulu mythos so I hope this doesn't sound ignorant or anything, but are these beings merely mimicking the forms of the mane six or have they possessed their bodies? Just curious as to whether this will lead to a fight between them and the six or not I suppose.

Yeah, I forgot the antenna in the first chapter, so I figured that instead of adding them as an edit, I'd make up a good reason they weren't there in the first place. Star Trek writers do that sort of thing all the time, right?
