Sparkyyy's February 19th Speed-paint Landscape Challenge fav.me/d4q5m7cI couldn't add pink in this one T_T
I honestly was stumped a few times in this and didn't know what direction to take it in. Really challenging. the colors in this is just everywhere! I had a hard time with the bluish tones near the bottom mix in with like the red purples. the fog effect was also interesting to do. Working on getting more texture in my speed paints.

Oh wow! I think you did a great job on this one! You've captured the gloomy/misty atmosphere quite well. The trees as well as the ground have a lot of texture. Although you didn't paint every single little branch, you still managed to recreate the same mood and overall feel of the original reference. It really turned out great! ^^

you know something, I didn't check the huges in high saturation! I should do that from now on. That's really crazy to think about. and yeah there are so many subtle color elements in this that just make you go nutz! I had 20mins left to do the ground and was scared I'd not have enough time for it D:

Ohh very nice job. I found those colours damn hard as well like some mix of purpley blue and pink. I think you did a really nice job getting the depth on the ground and the texture and detail you put on it, and the barky effect on the trees. Critique wise I think the sky is a bit lighter in the reference and some of your tree branches are a bit thick where they spread out , there's also A LOT of branches but with the time limit it's hard to get most of them in.

yeah looking at it now I should have gone lighter with the sky. (wants to take it down and edit it D: ) Those branches just killer! I honestly think I could have spent the whole time just working on them. Thanks for your feed back ^_^
