This is the mask that I made for Renaissance Faire this week. It's a plain black half-mask that I took the string off of, painted with stars and swirlies, and wired to a gold-painted dowl rod. This I decked it out with wire swirlies and blue star-shaped beads, because more shiny = better. It's a little less pristine now, since I dragged it around the faire all day today, but still looks good despite being dropped once or twice. Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make and wear (although staying up until 3AM finishing...maybe not so much. This year we're going as pirate wenches, wearing things we already have!).
