Eurgh, the photo of this one isn't brilliant - The texture of the canvas shows up too much. I have asked other more experienced canvas painters than I how to improve on this on hopefully the next painting will be better.This was a bit rushed for a friend's birthday. I should have restrained the amount of light I was showing on the mountains and leaves. I have also learned I need to paint them better.

i really like the contrast in this, and with the strokes the way they are it gives a sense of energy. I absolutely adore the moon with the clouds, it almost feels like it's bleeding into the sky.

I really love the spooky feel of this piece! You did an excellent job with the owl. The feather textures are wonderful, as are the branches. Love the sky as well!
