I frequently come across artists who make me feel utterly inadequate, but your paintings are so vivid and so alive that you just make me want to work all the harder on developing my own skills! Β Fantastic work!

I like this a lot. Did you have anyone in particular in mind when you painted her face? She looks like someone famous, but I'm not sure who. I thought Fairuza Balk, maybe, but I don't think that's who she reminds me of.

Oh man that's gorgous, I love the colours you've used. The pink and gold complement the dominant blue perfectly giving the piece a very warm overall feel, whilst maintaining the clean and crisp aesthetic which desnotes a science-fiction style so well.I know I'm focusing on the chromatic aspect of the image but it really is superb, I must mention how the ingnian light plays so well on the tan metallic aspects of her suit, and her skin. This is all set off so well by the pink highlight, both the overt ones such as are incorperated into her armour and the subtler ones such as her hair.

I really appreciate the balance you have here with line and area. That's hard for me to do. You have this solid painterly quality to the rendering but some good anchors with line especially in the face and hair. The reduced view really shows that too.
I love the lighting of the face as well and the overall concept of the suit.

Awesome work miss Bowater, specially the ribcage it feels like she is so natural, if not too much to ask would you mind making ribcage studies, I think your expertise over the subject would be a treasure, or at least some pointers as to what to take into consideration.
Ribcage is a major problem I struggle with when it comes to put the torso in crunching position be it frontal or lateral, and sometimes foreshortening.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
