this is my moms birthday gift--she works in an elementary school and just got a new office so this is part something to hang and part birthday gift cause we both loved this show when i was little and shed read the books to me and stuff like that.science is pretty cool. also i wanted the bus to look as realistic as possible, or at least old and grungy looking.

I had a science teacher in elementary who was, according to everyone in class [including me], as close to Miss Frizzle as you can get in the real world. She was amazing, instead of a lizard she had a number of animals including a tarantula and three ducklings who thought she was their mom. All she lacked was a bus. When she moved to another school everyone was heartbroken (her replacement was nowhere near as awesome).
