They should have given her a backstory of how and where her fear/hatred of predators all started instead of expecting us to believe she is racist and power hungry for no reason, which makes no sense. I know there is more to her story than what we're told.

I would hate for them to just leave her in the dark as your typical "evil for the sake of being evil" villain when there has to be more to her background than what the movie reveals. I just know it is more than just Lionheart being an ass, and pardon me for saying that it gets really irritating when someone acts like she's the only villain that crossed the line while ignoring the actions of other villains that have done a hell of a lot worse than she did.

But even if she does have something that has happened to her to make the way she is now, it can't justify what she's done and what she was planning to do to Zootopia and its inhabitants. Yes, other villains of a lot of disney movies and any tv show , movie, etc. have done way worse things, but what she has done is still horrible, and she deserved the ending she got. At least she didn't get the usual ' Disney Villain treatment' and was killed off.

I don't condone what she did, or the actions of other villains I feel sympathy for, but I can understand why they would do those things, even if they did make bad choices themselves. My sympathy for them never leaves. But this whole "he/she is a villain so everything that happens to them is what they deserve for being villains" is often overrated nowadays, even the melodrama of some people complaining about a few reformed villains getting off too easy never stops either. She needs to serve time for what she did, but I'm not going to pass her off as some other villain who does evil for no real reason. Makes no sense.

I'll also admit, she shares the same motive in fear just like Princess Azula, which is who she was slowly becoming. And in a way, Nick and Judy saved her from going further down that dark path. Hopefully hard time and extreme therapy will do her good.
