On your hands and knees,
Crawling your way through everyday,
Digging out of the dark and into the light
Cliché's and Mary Jane's,
It's all the same,
Just a few sticks and stones
Mixed into the mud.

it rained last night
like crystal clear drops of new birth
new eyes to look at life
fresh skin,
pink still with newborn inexperience.
