The shape of the brooch was actually taken from photoshop shapes You can find a lot of cool things there: D

Well, yes, she usually has longer hair But as it's the earliest transformation, fairies are about 16 when they get it ---> they're supposed to have shorter (compared to hair at the age of 19) hair (of course if they don't cut them completely). Plus Abbie's hair is tied in ponytails =3

I will reply to your other comment here as well, I think that pink looks GREAT on Abbie, but it would be interesting if you added some other colours to it Pink and light yellow is a good combo btw :3

It's a special function of Pen Tool. Normally using Pen Tool you get lines as a result, but if you use Photoshop Custom Shapes (as they're called), you get various figures - for instance, flowers, moon, puzzle pieces and so on. Ps already includes a bunch of shapes, but you can download them and add to your Ps. Here's a good site I found, dedicated specially to Ps Custom Shapes - [link] And here they are in Ps - [link]

I'll try that! :3 I just thought that they have only one color in their 1st forms, but now I see that a lot of fan-made 1st forms have several colors and still fit in the concept)


No, I meant that they got their transformations at the age of 16 (at least Bloom) ---> I'm 16 ---> I can soon get a power +transformation But I think, I already got my power - at today's clean-up at school. It is the power of...DUST! I've never seen so much dust in my life - it was everywhere, especially in our noses, mouses and probably even throats It was a funny day...^^

Mmmm... Not necessary! Stella had blue elements and look for example on Mirta, she has two: [link] So I don't think you should be limited by one colour only

Yeah, you really should if you're able/need to :3 I guess, shapes can be very useful in drawing flowers when there are many of them, or geometrical figures, or charmixes ;D

Okay! I'll think of what can I do with her outfit) What I want to save from this design is charmix and hair - I'm now not satisfied with the rest of outfit ^^

Ah I see If I draw many flowers, it's most likely to be a traditional drawing, and then I prefer to draw them all myself, but I see your point, and I can imagine they are very useful in digital drawing :3

Yeah, cause it's her basic color. I mean, they get a new color with a new transformation, so basically Flabia has pink, then cyan and then orange)
