The pizza that was ordered wouldn't arrive at Tracey's apartment for another twenty minutes.

Plenty of time to get into a little mischief.

Tracey and Lucas grabbed mugs of coffee from the kitchen and ventured into the living room, nestling close on the soft leather couch. They let whatever snippets of conversation drift by while in the background, the living room stereo system was playing a large playlist of 70s folk rock and ballads.

After a brief lull in chatting, Tracey had a faraway look come over her, her thoughts wandering momentarily. "What are you thinking about, gorgeous?" Lucas asked.

"The future." Tracey said after sipping some coffee, her attention drawn back to her boyfriend again. "Yeah, it's about the future."

"Anything interesting I should know about?" Lucas smiled as he looked at Tracey, wondering about what she was thinking about. "How big a part do I play in your future?"

Setting aside her drink on the table nearby, with a mischievous twinkle in her gray eyes, Tracey showed what she meant by holding her hands about a foot apart. Lucas smirked slightly and upon seeing his reaction, Tracey's warm smile grew bigger as she spread her hands farther and farther apart until her arms were held out wide.

Lucas laughed, and nodded. Tracey leaned forward, gently bring her arms around Lucas's neck.

"Handsome, I couldn't possibly think about a future without you. Simple as. I'm so grateful you entered into my life when you did, and I love you so much." Tracey said, giving him a soft kiss.

"Hmm, I wonder what we'll do for an encore?"

"Oh, I think we'll think of something. After all, luv, the night's still young, and we've got all the time in the world."
