Description
This was another one of my favourites out of the Inktober submissions my one of Durnazshar for 'UrSkek' so I also coloured this one digitally as well. This was what I got several layers later. Here is the original sketch he has his winglike appendages folded down here.Disclaimer: The UrSkeks are the property of Jim Henson, but 'Durnazshar' is my own The Dark Crystal inspired UrSkek character.

Thanks Zure, Urskeks are hard to draw and to get right, so I'm pretty happy how this one came out.

Thanks I was trying to make him look glowy! Chern said he liked the expression he's got on his face too. I was trying to make it obvious that it was Durnazshar who even as an UrSkek was a little um'different' and revelled in been himself especially when he came to Thra!

Truly beautiful take on your Urskek, dear! ^^
His fiery, and at the same time tame and precious yellow hues and resplandescent aura are stunning!
Very well done!

Yes I had fun colouring this one. I was trying to make it obvious that it was Az Despite the fact that's he's in his original Urskek form , he always revelled in his individuality even if it did cause him a little grief at times and made him 'different'. Urskeks can be hard to draw thanks SkekLa

Thanks Chern! I love colouring it probably comes from when I was a kid and my mum and I used to colour in together, (it was kind of our thing, she could never teach me to knit because I was left handed and her right) and making paper dolls together (long before colouring in became a 'thing') and dawing with my brother. I still like to colour in. So thanks for your compliment! I thinking of maybe doing the Aughra one, seeing I always liked that look on her and it's not one most would have seen.

That's a good memory to have of your mom! I was 35 when my mom revealed she could draw as good as me lol! She never told me because growing up in her household her mother told her drawing was a waste of time. That's grade A bullshit! But she doodles now and then and she's 70. She could've drawn fashion designs if her mother wasn't such a hardass god rest her soul. I could've spent my childhood drawing with my mom so I'm a little jealous of your childhood coloring.

My mother is in her 70's somewhere. She still likes to colour in, like I said she couldn't teach me to knit so we made paper dolls and coloured in together instead. She often asks me how my drawing is going. Dad says she spends hours colouring in And thanks for sharing that with me Chern.
