Description
I genuinely like the interface of Mac OSX, and the power of a similar *nix platform like Linux. Is there a way to get OSX like drop shadows in linux? If yes, I wanna know how*Download for best quality image*

There is, actually... you just can't do it directly from Compiz.
All you need to do is open up a terminal, type " gconf-editor /apps/compiz/plugins/decoration/allscreens/options " without the quotes, and change "shadow_radius" to whatever you like. (Use 48 for best effect)

Thanks! I'm using Emerald at the moment though and it has solved my issue at least partially. Thing is, once Emerald is applied, it takes over the drop shadows from Compiz and I guess there's no way to over-ride that.
