I haven't drawn in a very long time so I finally worked up the inclination to draw something again. Worked on it for a couple of weeks on and off but now I am bored of it. I could probably tweak it forever but I will leave it as it is.

For those who are interested in the story behind the picture, I posted something earlier of Nikah making a deal with a Warlock to help pull the spirit of her dead friend from the void and back into his body. In return for this service she was his test subject and drank a magical concoction including the blood of several demons that he has enslaved. This did now show any immediate side effects but slowly they began to appear. The latent magic in Nikah's bloodline was awoken from the ritual and with control and practice she is now capable of producing small flames. The power threatens to ovcerwhelm her though and the demons have begun to whisper into her head, trying to bend her towards their will.

She does not have the temperament to control her magic well and her natural suspicion and fear of magic is hampering her abilities. Luckily for her the demons have a much better target for their greed in her friend and mentor Vander who has been helping her take back some control in her life. A war is coming though and she will be tested so she is finally embracing the fire inside of herself and learning to control it, time will tell if she is able to.
