basically, an undertale au i made similar to storyshift. all the cool kids are doing it. i guess we can also write this off as an excuse for me to draw temmie as papyrus.

list of shuffles from left to right:
"Echo” (an Echo Flower) -> Flowey (basically, the two types of flowers switch roles)
Shyren -> Asriel
Asriel -> Toriel
Annoying Dog/Toby -> Sans
Temmie -> Papyrus
Endogeny -> Gaster (going off the “gaster is the skeleton brothers’s father” theory, the endogeny might be related to both toby and temmie by extension??)
Mettaton/Mettaton NEO -> Undyne/Undyne the Undying
Napstablook -> Alphys
Papyrus -> Mettaton (is it wrong that i was laughing while making his design?)
Sans -> Napstablook
Chara -> Asgore (here, Chara is referred to as “The Fallen Ruler of the Underground”.)
Aaron -> Chara (i totally should’ve gone with lemon bread but technically lemon bread is an amalgamate??? see below)
Not Shown (some are not definite, bear with me!!):
Monster Kid -> Temmie
“Goner Kid” (Gray Monster Kid) -> Bob
Bob -> Annoying Dog
Gaster -> Monster Kid (instead of an innocent monster child who obsesses over undyne, it’s a grown scientist who respects sir mettaton’s position as head of the royal guard, but also does not want to see the human get hurt. he sympathizes with them…)
Gaster Followers <-> Amalgamates (they switch roles because endogeny is gaster)
Toriel -> Nice Cream Guy
Asgore -> Burgerpants (after he and toriel retired and let asriel and chara take their position as rulers of the underground, they decided to get simpler jobs…apparently in food vendoring.)
Muffet -> Snowdin Shopkeeper
Grillby -> Gerson
Burgerpants -> Grillby
Nice Cream Guy -> Muffet
Dogamy and Dogaressa -> Bratty and Catty
Catty -> Shyren
Bratty -> Aaron
