Samurai Jack, gotta be my favorite show still to this day, after all the great things I've watched.

Bought some Prismacolors the other day. I tried to think about a medium that I could immediately get results that would build my confidence and I remembered in middle school and elementary, before I knew the process of comic coloring, I would color my drawings with marker and Crayola colored pencil. I taught myself how to layer and mix colors...

Fast forward like 10 years later, I decided to revisit colored pencils after looking at some disgustingly good pieces online. I think I'll be playing with these a lot more often, they might be my medium of choice. I get all the colors in the spectrum for cheap and its also vibrant and I still approach the work the same as sketching.

Digitally, it's been hard for me to learn color, but when ur using traditional media, you learn faster in my eyes. It forces you to mix colors and such and create textures... anyway, I sat down for an hour and half or so and just started playing with the colors and making forms, and this came out. Jack is stiff as shit because, I really didnt expect him to the be there LOL. So please don't give me crits on him stiffness, posing, etc. I know.

There's nothing much to say about this sketch, besides it's a sketch lol, just fun, many more to come....
