What a stunning capture of detail. I don't know how anyone can put so much effort into such a small thing like an apple with some droplets on it. I feel like I wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to even be half as good. There's a lot of technique here and it takes real talent and patience to be able to replicate such a beautiful image.
Well done

I was already a bit Β thirsty when I saw this. Made me get up for a drink. and it was satisfying as hell. I really want to bite into a crisp, juicy apple right now, thanks for that.

Thanks. I took a look and saw the two drawings you referred to. Our drawings look similar but it's clear that those were his own - our styles aren't exactly the same. But thanks for informing me

Thanks I did the shading with a 2B mechanical pencil, which has a finer tip than normal pencils.
As for the shading, I don't really know how to explain except by saying it's a matter of closely observing the water's tones and controlling my strength and evenness as I shade. The control and strength part comes with experience.
The importance is to capture the varying dark and light tones and not missing out any detail. That helps to create the illusion of depth.
