*edit* i'm honored this was featured as a daily deviation, thanks so much! for those who asked this was painted in photoshop, with a few bits sketched on paper first and scanned in. I'm not sure how long it took but it was a whilesooo i havent updated in a really long time. its not like i havent been drawing, ive been drawing a lot, but i sort of just stopped uploading them. im tryin to get back in the groove now tho
I probably should have spent less time on this than i did...but its pretty awesome so i guess it's worth it. gonna give props to sir barnabas ([link] ) for makin me think about how badass elites are and makin me want to draw this.
i think this is the last halo thing ill do cuz its basically fan art, and you know...fan art...but its cool.
ps. also props to my sweet heart for her honest critiques and comments, it wouldn't have come out as good without them

Very Amazing everything looks just amazing and the coloring and lighting fits perfectly but the Brute could be a bit bigger in proportion but otherwise i give a 10 star* woot keep it up

Superb colouring and details there buddy! Gotta say you've put my lil' Halo image to shame! If I could just mention one tiney weeny thing though- I think that Brute (the one being made into shish kebab) is a little on the small side- Brutes are a lot beefier than elites... and that's saying someting as elites are pretty damn big.
Anyway, the pic rocks. So there.

my only criticism is the position of the elite. he doesn't really look like he thrusted that sword from the angle he is at and the position of his other hand... still... one of the best, if not the best halo fan art ive seen

That my friends, is the act of being, "owned".
Dang.. I can't stop looking at it.. the armor reflections and detail in the brute's fur is insane! Also, I'm an admirer of hands from anything, be it human, alien, whatever.. and holy crap you did an epic job! I can actually see the veins and tendons in the brute's hand! Nice choice of light source too.. the plasma sword worked awesome in this. Nice smoke and explosion effects too. It's too bad this'll be your last halo fan art, but I guess you need to make your own stuff instead of rehashing others concepts and character designs ^^
I wish this could be wallpaper-sized though -__- Elite's are my favorite aliens in Halo, not to mention any other alien anywhere 
heheh.. too bad you didn't make another one of Chief and the Arbiter, that would be awesome <3
