*edit* i'm honored this was featured as a daily deviation, thanks so much! for those who asked this was painted in photoshop, with a few bits sketched on paper first and scanned in. I'm not sure how long it took but it was a whilesooo i havent updated in a really long time. its not like i havent been drawing, ive been drawing a lot, but i sort of just stopped uploading them. im tryin to get back in the groove now tho
I probably should have spent less time on this than i did...but its pretty awesome so i guess it's worth it. gonna give props to sir barnabas ([link] ) for makin me think about how badass elites are and makin me want to draw this.
i think this is the last halo thing ill do cuz its basically fan art, and you know...fan art...but its cool.
ps. also props to my sweet heart for her honest critiques and comments, it wouldn't have come out as good without them

Wicked man..I've played H3 and its awesome. Sword is fun (but me and my friend have found people cheating in a way. They GLITCH and won't die and out of no where we have no health.). But anyways wicked man.

As fantastic as the art in this image is, it just feels a little lifeless to me. I know I'm being overly picky here, but the Elites pose strikes me as... Unenthused, really. You did a great job and certainly better than I could ever do, but still, the pose doesn't seem to convey much action.

this is SO AWESOME!! you definitely deserved the daily deviation...one of the best pieces of halo fan art i have ever seen...and even though i think spartans kick the most ass, elites are pretty cool too and the whole composition of this picture is great...almost looks like it could be a screenshot out of the game!! great job!!
