impressive job, mad props!

Why do people insist in killing giant dinosaurs with knifes and or spears? anyone? I'm basically making a thesis on how we wouldn't be able to kill them with modern day weapons!

Humans can kill anything. If ancient people can kill mammoths, moas, sharks, and whales, dinosaurs would not be a much greater challenge. You should change your thesis.

No way.
Mammoths like other megafauna were probably quite tame not having evolved along humans like other elephants.
Moas were dumb as hell.
Sharks are big fishes usually not larger than a human leg and so on.
There is virtually no living being on earth now that can kill an adult human in one strike. Even bears, large crocodiles and sharks need to chew an wrestle for a while, wait for some serious bleeding to happend, come back, and repeat the process.
That can't be done easily if there are other hunters around to attack you or protect the fallen prey.
Large theropods are a completely different story. With jaws at times larger than the human itslelf a larger carnivore would pierce practically every vital organ in one snap while crushing many bones in the process.
When you see you mates drop almost torn at half from a height of 3m, you wouldn't quite be in the mood to hunt that prey again.
But of course, I'm not criticizing the pictuere or the concept or anything, I love all that. Just pointing out my favoritism for dinosaurs ::

You make a fine point. But, the way humans (or neanderthals) killed mammoths didn't usually require attacking them head on to face the deadly tusks and throwing trunks. Instead, they pushed boulders from the cliffs above or used fire to scare migrating herds off embankments.
I envision a T. Rex hunt would be similar, a large group using traps and environmental hazards to injure and immobilize the carnivorous monster while a few brave souls make the final kill.
Would be much work to prepare for the kill but it would feed quite a few people (given scavengers were warded off) and I'll bet the tail meat tastes quite good.

I think there would be so many dinosaurs, living in far greater numbers that would make better food on the same ammounts than large theropods.
Actually few if any carnivores are good food, or are so rare that are not worth the battle or making up a strategy to be killed.
Such hunts are usually ritualistic.. and thinking about rituals I think humans would be too busy worshiping the mighty predators to hunt them around. We humans are pretty supertitious and even modern animals like particularly large or dangerous lions or crocodiles that managed to kill some folks have been considered immortal spirits or deities. Imagine what would they think of an old t.rex after it ate an uprepeared tribe whole.
I'm not saying the hunt is imposible, if as you said, there are large groups of people and the enviromental hazards abailable, then it might be done...
But well.
I could really go on forever arguing that elephants have fixed ankles and therefore are slower than theropods, which were made to actually run, etc, ect.
But you probably don't want that.

When I think about the cooked meat of a therapod, alligator is the first thing that comes to mind. Delicious, like a cross between chicken and crab. But then a land creature like a tyrannosaur wouldn't have the fishy taste of an alligator, which leaves the cliche "tastes like chicken." Therapods did have much in common physically with modern birds.
But, something that sets the chicken apart from the T. Rex is its diet; chickens don't make very fearsome carnivores/scavengers. So, if T. Rex actually tastes like vulture I suspect you're correct that humans would not kill them except for rituals (hazing).

Excellent painting, and very nice rendering.
One critique though - the jumping hunter's left foot blends in a bit too much with his right leg - making it look as though the foot is attached to his knee or something. Its a minor issue but distracts on the first look. If I were you I'd work up the left knee and shin a bit more to make them stand apart from the receding right leg.

Man, I just love T-rex's little arms.
I also love how the rocks are painted, they look so real. xD
I'd say those cavemen are going to eat tonight.
