Description
BlameI did what you asked me to do.
If you didn\'t really want it,
You should have told me.
You could have left that night.
But you stayed.
I only did what you asked of me.
For months,
I followed the black spiral path
your heart was taking
into whatever was hiding in the middle.
I wanted to dive in,
to rescue you.
But my own heart was tied elsewhere.
Even if I could have reached you,
You would have seen my chains,
and pushed me away.
I couldn\'t be your savior.
So I found you one .
Now your eyes plead with me
to take it all back.
I gave you everything I had to give you.
Please,
Don\'t blame me for your desires.
I would have drowned with you if I could.
But I only did what you asked of me.

Very emotional. Very effective and very nicely done. I am jealous of your control of emotion in your poem!!!

"For months
I followed the black spiral path
your heart was taking"
deserves its own poem..., in fact it might be its own poem. I love the way those 3 lines sound. They're original, they're effective. Would you consider reworking the piece around them, they're really that good ^_^
