Description
Imperfect PerfectionPerfection,
On the rare occasion that you find it,
Never lasts.
The very nature of perfection
Causes it to implode upon itself,
Making you regret ever finding it.
The next time I find something perfect,
I intend to leave it alone,
For I refuse to take the blame
For its impending destruction.

very true. perfection is somewhat like a mirage. it is there however we look at it; but as soon as we reach out for it, it has disappeared. i agree. staying away from perfection is the only way as harm is caused to all parties involved when it does implode even though those parties may not really realise it at the time.
thankyou for an eye-opening poem. a +fav for me
