Description
The Time MonsterIt has been creeping toward me,
slowly, for some time,
making very little noise,
and hiding when I turn to see it.
It just caught up to me.
It sits crouched wherever it can hide.
Behind the couch, under the table,
on top of the fridge, in my glove box.
I see it everywhere.
I can hear it breathing.
Once, I saw its eyes.
They were a gray-green-brown,
With a tiny circle of yellow
just in the middle.
It stared back at me,
and never blinked.
It’s playing make-believe with me,
pretending to be this scary monster,
waiting to pounce
at the perfect moment when I look away
or blink.
But it can’t catch me.
I’ll always know it’s there.
I can run faster.
What does it want?
Its eyes scare me.
The yellow circle is growing,
pushing away the neutral
gray-green-brown.
Does it bite?
WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME?

Very nice...I like how I am able to see the picture as i read it...I am scared to...Let me know if it does bite...If it does maybe i could bite it also and make it go away...
