este si me gusto demasiado
se ve claramente la referencia hacia angry birds, no se si fue intencional o no pero se ve genial

Thank you so much, my dear friend - yes, I was surprised by this when I made it... it looked like part angry bird and part Thing (from the Fantastic Four)...

Chas, You make me smile everyday. I only wish I could crank mine out this fast lol I am on the 2nd day of a 1 1/2 hour Blender tutorial Lol This one is a spaceship model. I figure at this rate several hours a day you might get to see this one in a couple weeks if I do not hit a brick wall along the way. It takes me forever and a day to get anything done but I am determined to learn and I am learning. I do have something else in the works for Tea but it is not quite time to submit it. That is the good thing.

Such kind words... what more can I say? Thank you so much for being such a dear friend ~
I admire your focus - keeping with the blender tutorials devotedly... I wish I had more patience with tutorials myself. You know, it takes me a long time to learn things, too - it really does. And I'm sure that with your skill and patience, it will come out looking superb - I look forward to it, along with your company, and your lovely artworks!

Well at 73 years old my brain likes to buck the system lol I am determined to learn difficult technical things to ward of dementia. Research shows that the more of that kind of brain work one does the less chances there is of developing those illnesses. I know several people who had those issues, so I am going to do my best to keep that demon away. At the same time, I love mesh modeling. It is the best part for me and my goal is to do human heads and eventually whole bodies. The organic part what I truly want to learn will be a harder challenge as my hand shakes and the very intricate stuff with a mouse does get difficult. Also as you will see very soon I am doing my photo manip for Tea using my wood vase model as part of her gift. Using my models for that adds another facet to what I am placing in my gallery. Hopefully I will keep improving. I do appreciate your encouragement always dear Chas.

Bless your heart - you're doing the right thing; I'm very proud of you!
I'm trying to keep my mother interested and engaged in things, even if it's getting her a new crossword book or talking about deep thoughts.
She'll be in rehab for the next few weeks, so I'm doing my best to keep her mind off the present and look forward to the time when she can come back home with me and our kitties.
I will be watching for your next amazing posts, my dear friend. Forgive me if I don't respond right away... the past two weeks, and the next few, will be challenging time-wise for me.
Take care ~

Thank you for your kind words always dear Chas. Your number one priority is of course for your precious mother. Mine is no longer here she would turn 105 strangely enough on Tea's birthday. When she was in her last 3 years of life I was working 60 hours minimum per week and she lived one hour's drive away on a good day with no traffic. My time with her was so limited but I had no choice. I would go visit her every Saturday with my husband and during the week if there was an issue at the nursing home where she was. I would go after work and at that time the round trip was 3 hours and once I got to her she would be awake for about 15 minutes and doze off. But I felt it was important to be there to reassure her. Those years were very painful for me because I wanted to do more to spend time with her but I could not because of work. My Sundays were frantic trying to take care of things around the house and grocery shopping etc....my husband had lost his job and could not get one so it was up to me to keep mine. He did a lot to help me but still I never got much time for myself.
Spend as much time as you can with your mother and I truly understand if you do not have the time to reply at all. It is your special time with her and make the most of it. Life goes by so fast. Love her while you have her right there.
Puzzles are great to keep the mind active. Funny thing is that it is a way or a tool I used to teach myself English when I moved to the United States from Quebec. French is my native language so doing the crosswords helped me learn not only the spelling but the meaning of words. Any kind of puzzles are good for the mind. If your mother would be open to use a table the colorful games on there might interest her.
Be well my friend and give your mother a hug from me. I will pray that soon she will be home again with her beloved kitties.

You're very welcome, dear Denyse... wow... I can't imagine how much of a trial that must have been - caring for your mother, being the breadwinner in your household... you are truly a beautiful person for carrying on through those difficult times. I find that I am doing a lot more "running around" myself these days - but I am not saying that my problems are worse than anyone else's. I'm so happy that I know you as a friend who understands all these things so well. And I am spending time with her, and talking with her on the telephone. It may be a long six weeks, but I just want to make sure that she is completely healed before she comes back home.
And I agree - puzzles are said to keep the brain stimulated; a very wise practice! Thank you for the great suggestion on those things that I can encourage Mom to do. And you are from Quebec? That's a wonderful thing; my Mom was born in Nova Scotia - she's Canadian too! I wish I had kept up with my French studies after high school - but it's like anything else - if you don't use it, you lose it. I wish I had more French-speaking friends back in those days...
Love to you always, my dear friend - and I shall. Thank you over and over again for your kindness and support ~

Your mother is fortunate to have such a loving caring son. One more suggestion, libraries loan out books or magazines even cd's in the French language. If your mother still speaks French as my mother did, it is very comforting to them to hear things or read in their native languages. My mother loved the French version of the Reader's Digest and in those days when she was at home I subscribed to it for her. While your mother is ill the library is a better option. It takes several month's to get the French version up and running as a subscription if it is not alread sold locally. Also her home towm newspaper . My mother always insisted that I speak only French to her and my dad at least when others who did not speak the language were not present. I have never forgotten my French. I still talk with my relatives in Montreal and Quebec. I do have some issues with spelling especially since I use an English program but I pretty much remember every word. I must admit that since my mother died in 2004 my conversations in French are few and far between. You might also inquire as to any staff or other patients who might speak French .
I will keep positive thoughts that your mother will soon be fully recovered and able to return home. :heart :

Such kind words, my dear friend - thank you so much... I try to care as much as I can, although I am certainly not perfect.
I saw my Mom this evening, and she is doing much better today. I am very hopeful. She is being well cared for, and she is recovering. Amen.
Actually, you know, my mother can't even speak a word of French! Her grandfather was able to, though - I remember hearing a funny story about that one time. My great grandfather and his girlfriend, along with two other friends of theirs, were on their way home when they decided to stop at a diner on the West Side of Pubnico, where French is the dominant language. They arrived quite late, and the waitresses in the diner assumed that they could only speak English (they were from Woods Harbor, several miles away). So the waitresses stared grumbling in the kitchen in French about how those "darn Cockerwitters" (slang for Woods Harbor residents) were coming in here so late, and they had to stay late to clean up and all that. So finally the waitress came to their table and passed them their menus, wearing a forced smile. My great grandfather, with a smile on his face, looked the waitress straight in the eyes, and ordered in French!
Well, that was one embarrassed waitress... but the story had a happy ending. They all became quite friendly with one another, and they always got great service whenever they came in afterwards...
But I think I will try practicing French a little more now... thank you so much for the tip on how to get "brushed up" on the language!
Take care, my dear friend - I hope you have a nice day tomorrow ~

I am so happy your mother is improving and hopefully soon it will be over and she will be home. I loved hearing the story and it is so nice that they did become friends. One never knows who speaks a foreign language. I know at times when I was out with my mother we would speak French and out of the blue someone would join our conversation. This of course was to my mother's delight and at times to my annoyance especially if I had little time to spend with her. Have a relaxing rest of the evening and take care as well my dear friend.

I understand dear Chas. I get in ruts myself then I do a few in a row. I have seen stretches where I am totally unmotivated and I just have to wait until I feel those artistic juices flowing again or my shoulder will flare up with the tendinitis and I cannot even pick up a pencil without pain and I just have to stop for however long it takes. We all have those times. Stress is a big factor and with your mother being ill and what you have to do to help her recover it certainly adds to your stress. Take the time you need my friend and soon you will feel like doing your lovely art and features again.
