Description
Each of the lions in the major kingdoms have different features and attributes that are common amongst different members of the pride. They show up frequently enough through breeding within the pride or with lions with similar features outside of the pride that they become common place amongst members of the pride. Sometimes the attributes apply to most members, while other times, they may only apply to the royal family and those descended from the royal family. These are some of the prides in my TLK-verse and their attributes, so as to give you an idea on how it works.

Kiburi Pride Lands - Kiburi Pride

The Pridelanders generally tend to have a stocky build to them. Fur color ranges from dark orange to a light yellow, with the undercoat almost always lighter than the main coat, though sometimes it is darker. Colored paws are very common, even though colorless and colored on the front/back paws can occur. Manes and tail tufts tend to range from a muddy brown to a red, and Pridelander noses are very common, even though Outlander noses used to be a common trait. Eyelids tend to dark on top and light on bottom, even though same-colored eyelids pop up from time to time. Earrims are very common particularly with males. Some males tend to have fluffy cheeks, as well as some Females, and eye colors range from red to green. Their trademark is their long tails, which enables them to run faster than other lions.

Jioni Lands - Savannah Pride

Descended from what was left of the Kushinda Lions, They tend to have an average build, with fur ranging from various shades of tan, the undercoat always darker than the main. Most of the time, colored paws are very common, even though the occasional colorless paws can occur. Pridelander noses are very common, ranging from various shades of pinks, and manes and tail tufts are various shades of oranges. Eyelids are almost always the same color on top and bottom. Earrims are common with the males, with both having ear stripes. Eye color ranges from Burnt Orange to Amber. Their trademark is their long legs, which enables them to walk through the tall grasses of their home.

Alfajiri Lands- Sunrise Pride

Once being a larger kingdom known as the Sun Lands, the pride split into two after a dangerous rogue named Sanamu planned a coup d'état and succeeded and became the First King of the Jua Lands. The Alfajiri are the descendants of the true king of the Sun Lands, Zidisha. They tend to have slim builds to conserve body heat. Their fur are various shades of gold to golden brown, with colorless paws always being common. Outlander noses were common, though nowadays, Pridelander noses are starting to be common. Their manes and tail tufts range from black to brown, and eyes ranging from green to blue, with red coming in occasionally. Narrow earrims pop up sometimes. Their eyelids can be dark on the bottom, light on top, but being the same shade on top and bottom is more common. Their Trademark is their shorter manes and tail tufts, which helps them Perspire the heat.

Jua Lands - Sunset Pride

Once being a larger kingdom known as the Sun Lands, the pride split into two after a dangerous rogue named Sanamu planned a coup d'état and succeeded and became the First King of the Jua Lands. They are the descendants of said rogue and his followers. They are very similar to the North Sunlanders, except they have bright gold coats, manes, tail tufts, and tend to have colored paws. Pridelander noses have always been common, but Outlander noses are slowly going in commonality. Their eye colors range from Brown to red with orange once in a while. Narrow earrims are more common here, with high-ranked members having earrims in addition. Spots around the eyes are very common. Their Trademark is their thinner coats, which helps them to stay cooler.

Mbala Lands - Rock Pride

Formed during Simba's Reign after a group of lionesses were tired of the Old Ways and learned the New Ways from the Kiburi Pride Lands, they are one of the newest Kingdoms to spring up. They tend to have orange to bright red eyes, as well as fluffy cheeks on the females. to match with their rock home, they range from several shades of browns, and some have colorless paws, even though colored paws on the front paws are more common. Their manes and tail tufts tend to range from light brown to a slight pinkish. Pridelander noses are pretty common, while Outlander does come up from time to time. Their trademark is their muzzles being partially the same color as their coats to blend in with their environment.

Gereza Lands - Cliff Pride

The Gerezalanders have various traits as they were one of three kingdoms that split during a civil war between three sisters (They are descended from the youngest sister, Auni), so it is hard to tell which traits a Gerezalander may have, but most have coats that range from a grayish brown to a orangish tan, with undercoats either lighter or darker than the main coat, and red to brown eyes are common. Pridelander and Outlander noses were equally common, but nowadays, Outlander noses are increasingly common. Eyelids are almost always lighter on top and dark on bottom, but it can vary from lion to lion. Manes and tail tufts tend to range from a rusty red to a Light yellow, and fluffy cheeks typically don't occur. Their Trademark is their larger than average height, so that they can handle and arrest anyone committing crimes for Kali Kalamu.

White Shadows - Spirit Pride

The White Shadows are a unique pride in that they are a pride of lions exclusively of white, pale, or nearly white lions. Any lion born in their pride that is deemed to be "not white enough" is killed right at birth or if they turn dark, are chased away as teens. Because they can and do mate with outsiders, a variety of different traits pop up amongst the White Shadows, so it's difficult to say which trait is exclusive to them and what isn't. The main thing about the White Shadows is that they only accept white, pale, or nearly white lions amongst their rank. Anyone else - well, tough luck.

Meza Lands - Grass Pride

Founded by Queen Kula and King Chumvi at the end of Scar's Reign, it is one of the newer prides who tend to range in a variety of oranges to browns, with eyes that would vary from greens to blues, with big builds, Earrims, Eyelids that are typically the same color, Tail Tufts that vary from a grayish brown to a Light orange, and where Pridelander Noses are the Dominant trait. Colored and uncolored paws are equally common. Their trademark is their small body structures, enabling them to hunt faster prey such as gazelles and rabbits.

Pwani Lands - Beach Pride

Descended from the Chahala Landers that left after they became a kingdom after the Chahala Empire fell, , They come in golden to orange coats, with dark green to aqua blue eyes. They have thin builds due to their diet of fish and seafood, and always have outlander noses. Colorless paws are very common, and have dark gold manes and tail tufts. Their Trademark is their shorter tails, which allows them to propel themselves in the water.

Bahari Lands - Coast Pride

This pride are very fierce people, being the strongest swimmers out of all lions. They tend to have big builds due to their diet of whale and dolphin. They have various shades of red for their eye color. Hooked eyelids with them being dark on top and light on bottom are very common, along with Pridelander noses. Ear stripes, earrims, and pale manes and tail tufts are supreme amongst them, and colored paws are the standard. Their Trademark is their webbed feet, which enables them to be able swim for longer distances.

Mstari Lands - River Pride

The Mstari Lands has a big river snaking though their Territory (They are descended from the Middle sister, Amira, who won the civil war). Their coats range though various shades of grey, their undercoats usually either red or gold, and Narrow Earrims are very common. Eyelids are usually droop eyelids, and are usually light on top, and dark on bottom, but they can be dark on top, and light on bottom. Pridelander noses are very common, and manes and tail tufts come in any color, and are double-toned. Eye color is usually a shade of blue, but it can be a shade of Violet. Their Trademark is their White Chins, which are easily seen in the water, and shines in the light in the case that a lion may fall in.

Ndona Lands - Gale Pride

Founded by Amina and her friends when they escaped Takatso's temporary tyranny in the Meza Lands, they tend to carry a lot of traits from the Meza Lands, tend to be slightly bigger built, have darker coats, and having equality with Pridelander and Outlander Noses. In addition, they tend to have red to gold manes, and narrow earrims. Their trademark is their larger ears, which helps to hear from longer distances.

Msitu Lands - Scrub Pride

The Msitulanders were once a big Empire called the Wamvua Empire before King Msitu of the Msitu Lands and Queen/Empress Ondoa of the Kitropiki Lands split the Lands in two.  Because of this, The Kitropikilanders tend to have traits separate from their Allies, like small builds to navigate the jungle that they live in, and their coats go from the tans to a very light brown to blend in their surroundings. Darker and lighter undercoats are equally common, and uncolored paws are almost always existent, even though some lions can have colored paws. Manes and tail tufts range from brown to a dark gold, and sometimes can be red, and Pridelander noses are as equally common as Outlander noses. Dark on top light on bottom, and same colored eyelids are equally seen, and lions can have narrow earrims, or no earrims at all, and eye color ranges from baby blue to light green. Their trademark is their big paws for climbing trees.

Kitropiki Lands - Tropical Pride

The Kitropiki Lands were once a big Empire called the Wamvua Empire before King Msitu of the Msitu Lands and Queen/Empress Ondoa of the Kitropiki Lands split the Lands in two. Because of this, The Kitropikilanders tend to have traits separate from their Allies, such as coats that range from Chocolate brown, to almost Black, undercoats that are way lighter than the main coat, and Eyelids That almost always droop and would be about the same color. Ear stripes are very common, as well as narrow earrims. Pridelander noses are dominant as well as colorless paws, but colored paws on the front paws are existent as well. Manes and tail tufts are mostly red to a pink, and eyes range from dark red to sky blue. Their Trademark is their darker scleras which enable them to see better in the dark.

Mkondo Lands - Lake Pride

The Mkondolanders are a unique breed of lions in which their cots range from various Shades of Golds, given that they descended from the Kiburi Pride Lands, with undercoats usually darker than the main coat. Eye color ranges from Violet to Dark blue, and eyelids are Light on top, with the bottom blending in he coat. Manes and Tail tufts range from several shades of red, And uncolored paws are very common, as well as Pridelander Noses, but a Outlander nose can occur every other generation. Their trademark is their Big builds, which enables them to take down Hippos and Crocodiles.

Mchanga Lands - Desert Pride

Descended from a group of lions that were unhappy about Their empire becoming a kingdom, They lasted from the reigns of King Mchanga to Queen Dwala, these lions had coats varying from yellow to Greenish browns, with undercoats always lighter than the main coat, And Pridelander noses were always common. Narrow earrims were also common, as colored paws. Manes and tail tufts would range from a Chocolate brown to a light Yellow. Their Trademark were that had big fat reserves, so they could survive several weeks in the desert.

Kwea Lands - Mountain Pride

The Kwea Lands are a Stretch of Lands that consists of mountains. (They are descended from the oldest sister, Fatimah), Their coats range from Dusty Brown to a Dark Gold, with Undercoats mostly Darker than the main coat, and Eye colors that range from red to light orange. Pride Lander noses are very common, and Eyelids are Darker on top and light on bottom. Their mane and tail tufts are always a shade of brown, and Earrims are a common trait. They tend not to have fluffy cheeks. Their Trademarks are fluffy coats to withstand the freezing temperatures.

Rutuba Lands - Low Valley Pride

Founded by a lioness named Sista and a few followers during Kiara's Reign, This pride has some very unique traits, like aqua green eyes, equal amounts of Pridelander and Outlander noses, and different colored muzzles and paws. they range from light tan to brown, and tend to have ear tufts. Their Trademark is their dark scleras, which helps them to hunt better at night.

Chahala Lands - Marsh Pride

Previously being a Empire that fell, this pride is pretty much a mystery to most prides outside of their allies due to the fact that they are very secretive, but they have outlander noses, orange manes, and brown coats. some have earrims, others have dots, but most have colored paws. Their Trademark is their long bodies, which is useful in navigating their marsh home.

Mwiba Lands - Thorn Pride

Surrounded by thorns and bushes, they are very agile and slick. They have green eyes, golden brown coats, and light noses which are mostly outlander. Colored paws on the back paws are common here, as is the reverse. Earrims are pretty common, as is nothing on the ears at all. Their trademark is their thick skin, which is protective against all of the thorns.

Mbingu Lands - Heaven/Night Pride

A kingdom with a history of magic and curative healing, they are a very religious people, big believers in the Circle of Life. They tend to have green to blue eyes, various shades of brown manes, brown coats, and outlander and pridelander noses are equally common. Double earrims is very rare, even amongst them, and ear stripes complement them. Their Trademark is their long necks which help them to have a good view around their home.

Udongo/Mchwa/Usiku Lands - Clay Pride

The Udongo Lands, which were called the Mchwa lands during King Simba's reign, and the Usiku lands, after Rani revived it as the new queen, are quite close neighbors to the Pride Lands, but they typically don't interbreed. Udongolanders tend to have average builds with fur colors that range from a dark brown, to a dusty brown, with the undercoat always lighter than the main coat. Uncolored paws were very common, but nowadays, most lions have colored paws. Manes and tail tufts range from a rust brown to sometimes a black color. Outlander noses are very common, even though a Pridelander nose can occur from times to time, and Earrims are particularly common with the males, even though it can happen with some of the females. Most of the time, eyelids are mostly the same color, but dark on top and light on bottom and dark to top and light on bottom, and droop eyelids are common as well. Most lions tend to have fluffy cheeks, and eye colors range from Red to orange, even blue is common. Their trademark is their unsheathed claws which they use to dig up the clay.

Kijishimo Lands - Crater Pride

A very tragic pride, their last queen was Inkathazo, with the pride dying out from a disease that broke out during Crown-Princess Nirmala's cubhood, this pride had some common traits. they had brown coats, blue eyes, and ear stripes. they were very thin and had genetic defects due to inbreeding of the pride. Their trademark was their stripes, which were like sun reflectors.

Nje Pride

A nomadic pride founded by Chini, one of Simba's and Nala's daughters, this group are either outcasts or misfits, with various traits, so there is no way to tell what trait they could have here. Any lion who was exiled or ridiculed for any defect is welcome here.

Tambarare Pride

A pride in the Mbingu Lands outskirts that was founded by Jumba and Kisasian some years after Scar's Reign, they are mostly consisted of most of Scar's children who either never fitted in the Kiburi Pride Lands, or those that never supported Simba nor Zira. Since most of them are descended from Scar, they also take after him in looks at well, even though over the generations, they do take on features of the Mbingulanders.

They tend to have green to blue eyes, various shades of brown manes, brown coats, and outlander and pridelander noses are equally common. Double earrims is very rare, even amongst them, and ear stripes complement them. Their Trademark is their long necks which help them to have a good view around their home.

Udongo/Mchwa/Usiku Lands - Clay Pride

The Udongo Lands, which were called the Mchwa lands during King Simba's reign, and the Usiku lands, after Rani revived it as the new queen, are quite close neighbors to the Pride Lands, but they typically don't interbreed. Udongolanders tend to have average builds with fur colors that range from a dark brown, to a dusty brown, with the undercoat always lighter than the main coat. Uncolored paws were very common, but nowadays, most lions have colored paws. Manes and tail tufts range from a rust brown to sometimes a black color. Outlander noses are very common, even though a Pridelander nose can occur from times to time, and Earrims are particularly common with the males, even though it can happen with some of the females. Most of the time, eyelids are mostly the same color, but dark on top and light on bottom and dark to top and light on bottom, and droop eyelids are common as well. Most lions tend to have fluffy cheeks, and eye colors range from Red to orange, even blue is common. Their trademark is their unsheathed claws which they use to dig up the clay.

Kijishimo Lands - Crater Pride

A very tragic pride, their last queen was Inkathazo, with the pride dying out from a disease that broke out during Crown-Princess Nirmala's cubhood, this pride had some common traits. they had brown coats, blue eyes, and ear stripes. they were very thin and had genetic defects due to inbreeding of the pride. Their trademark was their stripes, which were like sun reflectors.

Nje Pride

A nomadic pride founded by Chini, one of Simba's and Nala's daughters, this group are either outcasts or misfits, with various traits, so there is no way to tell what trait they could have here. Any lion who was exiled or ridiculed for any defect is welcome here.

Tambarare Pride

A pride in the Mbingu Lands outskirts that was founded by Jumba and Kisasian some years after Scar's Reign, they are mostly consisted of most of Scar's children who either never fitted in the Kiburi Pride Lands, or those that never supported Simba nor Zira. Since most of them are descended from Scar, they also take after him in looks at well, even though over the generations, they do take on features of the Mbingulanders.
