Description
A pen and ink rendering of the rarely seen Pacific Seadrake. Highly endangered due to loss of habitat by off-shore drilling, both the Pacific and Northern Atlantic Seadrakes were considered extinct by experts until a confirmed sighting off the Oregon coast renewed hope for at least one of the species. A resurgence in the populations of the elephant seals, and small whales, on which these ocean dwelling dragons feed is likely responsible for their return to the cool waters of thier former range.Sightings of the smaller Atlantic Seadrake, off the coasts of Norway and Ireland, have yet to be verified.

*whistles* Well, that was a great report. It would be interesting if it was true. The scales are great and the water - but I love the eyes. Don't ask why, I just do.
