From what I've learned, your free to ship any character you want no matter what other people think. Back when I was younger I used to love Sonally but now I completely support Soniona which I think is the most underrated pairing because I really like Fiona when she was a good sided character and I think the two suit each other more anyway plus I so want to make my own Sonic universe fan fiction with it. As for Shadally, I think they fit well together, the two characters just want stuff done. 
So yeah, Sonic has Fiona, Shadow has Sally, the end.
