I like this comic, for the simple reason that these two hardly ever interact at all in the mainstream comics (not to my knowledge at least), and it leaves their possible relationship up in the air. It's hard to determine if they even acknowledge each other, let alone be close friends. Further, Sally has always been a pure-hearted kind of girl, not one to judge people by their looks or the baggage they carry around with them, if you know what I mean. I like seeing her be so nice to Shadow.

Ahhhh, this is sweet. After The G.U.N. Project, I'm glad to see what kind of comic you can make in full colour. I like your shading technique that uses sharp gradients, I often make use of it keep things clear and bright too. Your depiction of the Mushroom Hill zone is nice as well. There are only two panels with backgrounds, but they're enough to set the scene. I also had to chuckle at the dialogue; would you really want to kiss someone that quickly after signs of a cold? It looks like it was erotic enough to give Sally a breast enhancement in the last panel.

Thanks! Sometimes, depending on the piece, I switch back and forth from using gradients to just simple flat colors with a little shading. Oh and Sally's chest, heh, I draw a lot of full figured women on the side (like during life drawing and such) I guess it just bleeds into my other work even if I didn't intend for it to, ha!
