Okida : Well I suppose the obvious pun I could make is that is quite a sticky situation, but I think we all expect a bit more from me. So I'll just observe that Silver has just become the most delicious hedgehog in the entire comic.

Hello. I’ve read most of this in just two days. I’m just wondeing if we’re gonna get much from the early years of Shadow, following the Dia de los Muertos story? I can’t imagine the two of them were just sitting on their hands until now.

The remaining backstory stuff will probably be focusing on other parts of Sonic and Shadow's lives, I'm afraid. I'd love to do some standalone GOTF stories set during their time in Mexico, though! They definitely went on some adventures.

Yes, Sonic can interact with physical objects but it's limited; he can handle small and light things, but anything that'd require conscious effort (like you gotta put some muscle into it) to move he'll go right through. So Sonic could help you, say, do the dishes, but if you needed him to move a couch he'd be useless.

Oh? Could it be that we'll be seeing the appearance of Bondman? ...It's been confirmed in the Archie-verse, at least, that Megaman and Sonic are in the same multiverse, so I'm willing to believe it!

So, what do you do? Does Okida write the story in advance, and Evan draws a picture based on what she sees while reading it?

Okida and I write the story together, with me leading; usually that means we take turns pitching ideas for what will happen next, and brainstorm the details. I write the first draft of most of the script, tagging out to Okida if I get stuck or if it's a scene mostly dealing with characters he knows better than I do (like the Sonic the Comic cast members in the upcoming issues). Okida took the lead on a couple issues coming up, with editing from me to keep the GOTF characters' dialogue sounding normal. Up until Issue 11 or so, I did everything myself.
My writing skills lean towards dialogue and character moments, while Okida is strongest in overarching plot organization (and he's way faster than me in general, I write super slow). Combining our skill sets, we can get a lot done!
I do all of the illustration myself, usually doing some more script editing as I go. I sometimes help Okida with the art on his comic too, as a ghost artist (no pun intended).

No. Mostly what we do is sit down and have long debates what events we need to happen and how to get from A to B. Although a lot of our aims are just 'because this might be cool'
