    When it comes to directions, Rhode is hopeless. She gets lost in thought almost as she gets lost in the human word. More often than not, Rhode is late to appointments. She has a tendency to get distracted by something along the way to her destination.

Weapon of Death: Ceremonial trident
    The trident was an important symbol on Crete to her fisherman family. As she grew older, the trident kept appearing in key points of life. When she woke after death, the ceremonial trident almost seemed to mock her with her life’s irony.
    She likes the weapon because it keeps others at a distance in a fight. Seeing as she is not particularly good in a battle, this is very important to Rhode. In many cases, Rhode finds odd uses for the trident, ranging from a walking stick to a giant fork.

    Upon returning to Death’s apprenticeship, Rhode bought a new phone. She has no idea how to use it. Texting is a mystery, but she can at least pick up when someone calls her. It usually takes her at least three tries to call someone.

Bio:
From the beginning, Rhode was too smart for her own good. But instead of using her wit for the benefit of all, she used the gift for lies and deceit. Her favorite can was as a priestess. She would sell phony holy relics and remedies. Secretly, she admired the holy woman. As a low born child of a fisherman she had no hope of becoming one. So one day she stole her father’s trident and started to play pretend. The only only instinct greater than Rhode’s curiosity, was her wanderlust.
It was only a few years till her tricks caught up with her. Rhode fled the island to travel the largely unknown world. Rhode never cried about leaving her home. The island was far too small for her adventurous soul. Unfortunately, she did not get very far. It was not till she was hopelessly lost in the mid eastern deserts that she realized she had no sense of direction.
Rhode’s story would have ended there if it were not for the kindness of some Ayurvedic practitioners. The first sight when she opened her eyes was of the God Shiva. It seemed as if the trident bearing god of her island had followed her to this strange land. Rhode saw it as a sign to stay, at least for a little while. She was fascinated by their medicine, and learned all they could teach her. But it was not long till her wanderlust got the better of her again.
Over the next few years, Rhode traveled many paths under many names. Often she acted as a holy healer, her remedies being useless as often as they were helpful. Everywhere she went, she collected new practices in medicine. By the time she was 24, she no longer had to pretend to be a healer.
It would have been better if Rhode had remained lost. She had returned, finally thinking of doing some good for her people. However, her crimes had not been forgotten. Her lies made it impossible for anyone to believe her new truths, not that there were many. She was executed for her crimes.

She was laughing when she woke up from death. She did not remember much of her life at the time, but she did remember studying many religions. She had even impersonated them all in turn. Yet none of them had mentioned anything like Death had in store. For many years, she worked as an apprentice dutifully. But then, her wanderlust got the best of her.
It has been a few centuries since she has been heard from. Finally, as danger looms near, she has returned.
