Description Photography is not my favorite type of art, nor will I ever claim to be a good photographer. But I want to share some of the pictures I took there. I went to Ukraine for a few days, and while there I went to Chernobyl and the nearby city of Pripyat, which was completely abandoned after the nuclear power plant accident on 04/26/1986. There are still people working in the plant, surprisingly... Photography is not my favorite type of art, nor will I ever claim to be a good photographer. But I want to share some of the pictures I took there.

I've been to a few places around the world and this is seriously one of the most memorable I've ever visited. If you're interested, you can fly to Kiev, go to the Chernobyl museum or a tourism agency, and take the tour. It costs 150€ for one person and let me tell you you get your money's worth. When you're standing in front of the reactor, or visiting a city that's completely deserted, you really get mixed feelings...

This was taken in a kindergarten not far from the city of Chernobyl.

Looking at this is so... intense. It's a very simple photo, but knowing the background behind it is very emotional.

I chose it because the lighting and composition worked well, and you can still understand the impact by just these objects on the floor.

Thank you!

The impact is universal (unfortunately, given the circumstances behind them).

You're very welcome.

Un des shot les plus dramatiques, curieusement. Y'a des belles textures!
