Not very happy with how this came out, I'm definitely open to critique *_* I think it's mainly the values and overall composition. I should have studied more before I leapt into it :/ painting from imagination is damn hard.ΒAh well, will learn and improve for next time!

Certainly very cool. If you're looking for some criticism, I'd suggest making the magic pop more. Its glowing purple, and towards the bottom, it simply dulls, rather than thins out. The top where the magic appears to be sourced from is so cool, but by the time it drains down to the shield, it becomes very lackluster.Β

Yeah I completely agree, I should have balanced it out with some magic rune or something on the bottom. There's nothing to lead the eye around. That's why it feels weird *_*Β
Composition is just off in general, I should have put more thought into it.
