My Axis Powers Hetalia fan art of Honda Kiku (Japan) in honor of the Spring season!
This was really intended as a coloring practice after a long time, but I seemingly failed. My color's quite messy and I got Chinese ink all over the left sleeve of his kimono. I tried to fix it but since it's black, it messed up BAD
I also messed up at the shading DX...I have to practice more!
My hands' became quite shaky lately T^T so I'm sorry if it is not neat *sob*
I followed 's 's and 's tutorials...
I intended Kiku's skin to be dark but I failed on fixing the background. I already colored the background when I just realized that orange and red should give a warm feeling despite it is spring by night >.<
Tools: watercolors, white poster colors, acrylics and ink, gel pens, Chinese ink, speed pen, technical pens
This marks my return in painting and coloring AGAIN

I think this is a really wonderful piece, I love how "flowy" the drawing is (also, that hair is so pretty!) and how the flower petals mix with his sleeves. You always do such beautiful and detailed paintings ^^
