Charlie Williams was watching television. It was another news report about him.
“The Boy Monster was seen again today just outside his home in southern Idaho. The boy’s condition has not changed. Scientists and doctors are still uncertain as to what brought about the change and why he remains in this shape. We’ll keep you posted as more information surfaces. Back to you, Tom,”
Charlie threw the remote at the TV. It bounced off the screen with a dull "dink!" and slid across the floor. He sighed and got up from the couch. Charlie padded softly across the living room and into the kitchen. His hooves made harsh clipping noises as he crossed the kitchen's tile floor.

So this is Charlie. He used to be a boy, but that weird triangle he wears around his neck turned him into a monster. I love Charlie so. much.

And that background...thing....I don't know what I was going for with that.
