Thanks! sorry things are a little slow with the group right now. we haven't had a lot of members since the dumb-blonde founder forgot to change the settings! lol! now's a good excuse to draw an octopus! would you like to be a co-founder? btw, our mascot is Bwerp, the purple Octopus. his favorite things are empty jam jars, drums, and socks!

thank you! yeah, i've been busy drawing stuff for comicon and 2 booths at streetfairs I'm working at and I've been constantly comparing myself to other artists. but I realized last night I wasn't being myself at all! I wasn't drawing what I wanted to draw, i was drawing what i thought others wanted me to. so i said to myself, "Gosh darn it! I'm drawing an octopus playing with socks!" I think all artists need to do step back once in a while and ask themselves why they're drawing. it certainly gives good clarity and new enthusiasm
